Candace (Athens Ohio Photographer - Model Shoot)

During my Oklahoma visit, I met up with an old classmate, Ryan Steers, and we traveled to a wildlife refuge in Lawton to meet the lovely Candace for a model shoot. I am super pleased with the results. She has such a pure natural beauty, and was great to work with :) And my god the scenery was INCREDIBLE.

South Canadian River - Camargo, Oklahoma (Athens OH Photographer)

I remember visiting Oklahoma when I was a kid and we'd always go down to the river, ride horses there, swim, catch minnows, dodge snakes, get sunburnt, and just have a great time. Once a year we even went on the Trail Ride, where you ride the river on horseback for 3 days straight following a covered wagon and stay at camp sites at night. It was so much fun!

It was a whole new experience taking my own children there. It brought back so many childhood memories, and to watch them live it the same way I did was just awesome. My three kids, my husband, my sister and her kids all went for a fun day in the sun. They had such a blast! Of course, I photographed the whole thing.

Since I took thousands of images on our recent family vacation to Oklahoma, I'll try to only pick a few of the kids to share here :) ..but I should warn you, they are pretty darn cute and it might be hard to narrow it down!
